A practical result of Contentment : Generous Hospitality

So, I am working on a set of lessons to formally codify my experience as the church planter/pastor of a culturally diverse church, which was part of a reformed denomination. The main purpose of these lessons is to help us, as humble followers of Christ, learn Contentment and fight Frustration.

One of the practical results of learning Contentment is a burning desire to see others coming to the knowledge of God's saving grace. But how do we do it in a practical way? Well, given the current state of affairs in our country, even simple expressions of the Gospel stand in sharp contrast with what is culturally acceptable, and one of those simple expressions is Generous Hospitality.

Here is a working definition:

Generous Hospitality is the inclination of the heart, given by God the Holy Spirit, to create a place for those who feel out of place so that they can experience the goodness of the Triune God.

What about you? What do you think is the relationship between being hospitable and discipleship?
